Chattanooga City Election Runoff – Don’t Forget the April 8 Election

Yes! Don’t forget that early voting for the Chattanooga City Election Runoff for Council Districts 6 and 8 began March 19 and continues through Thursday, April 3. The final day to cast your ballot in these elections is Tuesday, April 8.

Here are helpful details for voters in these districts who still have a voice in the local representation on the Chattanooga City Council.

Early Voting continues at the Hamilton County Election Commission office located at 700 River Terminal Road off Amnicola Highway. Hours for voters to cast ballots are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

On Election Day, Tuesday, April 8, the polls will be open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. The following precincts are participating in the District 6 and 8 runoffs: Airport A & B, Alton Park, Avondale,  Bonny Oaks, Brainerd, Brainerd Hills, Bushtown, Concord A, Courthouse, Downtown, East Chattanooga, East Lake, Eastside, Glenwood, Hunter, Kingspoint, Ooltewah, Ridgedale, Silverdale, Summit, and Tyner.

The candidates involved in the runoff elections are Jenni Berz and Chrisian Siler running in the open seat for City Council District 6. The City Council District 8 election involves incumbent Marvene Noel and Anna Golladay.
