CHATTANOOGA, get ready for a gridiron showdown between the Kentucky State University Thorobreds Football Team vs. the Fort Valley State University Wildcats Football Team in the inaugural Chattanooga Scenic City HBCU Football Classic.  The Gridiron match-up and showdown will be held on Sunday, September 11, at W. Max Finley Stadium at 3:00 pm.

And then…there’s an after party.  Immediately following the game, another showdown begins, “The Often Imitated, Never Duplicated Original Battle of the Bands.”  This fan-favorite will showcase Chattanooga’s absolute best high school marching bands and best community dance teams, with special performances by the Fort Valley State University Blue Machine Marching Band and the Kentucky State University Mighty Marching Thorobreds.

The event will be produced by the Milestone Marketing and Distribution Group and Black College Football Classic Series.

Tickets for the Chattanooga Scenic City Historically Black College and University Football Classic are available at www.sceniccityclassic.com and range from $25.00 to $35.00.
