Chattanooga State’s Executive Director of Pathway Alignment, Dr. Wendolyn Davis, was honored last week with the Thomas A. Bilger Award from the American Association of College Registrars (AACRAO).

At ChattState, Dr. Davis leads the effort to develop seamless transfer opportunities, career-aligned academic programs, and a supportive educational environment. The award is given to AACRAO members who have exhibited sustained, impactful leadership.

Her leadership in developing student-centered policies and fostering institutional partnerships directly contributes to the College’s mission of empowering students to achieve their academic and professional goals.

The Thomas A. Bilger Award is one of AACRAO’s highest honors, celebrating individuals who have made significant and lasting contributions to the field of enrollment management and student services. Dr. Davis’s selection reflects her unwavering commitment to excellence and her influence in shaping policies that impact students nationwide.

“I’ve always believed that leadership is about service–advocacy, lifting others up, creating pathways, and ensuring that every student has access to the education and resources they need to thrive,” she said. “Receiving this award reinforces my commitment to this mission, and I’m grateful for the mentors and colleagues who have shaped my journey.” (Submitted Article)
