Entertainment will start at 5:30 pm with Love, Peace & Happiness! They are a highly engaging soul and R&B band that has been named “Best of the Best” in Motown-style live band entertainment. They are one of Chattanooga’s favorite party bands.
Featured performers, backed by Love, Peace & Happiness, are Jimmy Allgood (Vocalist), Robert Bailey (“James Brown of the South”), Frank Bumpass (Sax), and Jimmy Tawater (Guitar and vocals).
At 8:00 pm, the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will begin their patriotic program. The performance will feature special guests the “New Dismembered Tennesseans.” The symphony will be directed by assistant conductor Ismael Sandoval.
The fireworks display will begin immediately upon the conclusion of the symphony’s performance at approximately 9:45 pm.
Food/drink, shuttle & parking
A variety of food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink concessions will be available on site. The public is invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a picnic during the Pops on the River program.
There will be free shuttle service running from lots on the south side of the river from 5:00-11:00 pm.
- There will be port-o-john bathrooms available for public use.
- No PETS! Only documented service animals allowed and must be on a leash at all times.

- No fireworks or explosives (sparklers are ok)
