“Whenever we as a community come upon a Veteran in need, we should take action to resolve that need in any way possible.”

The above statement was put into ACTION this past Monday as Veterans and Community partners worked tirelessly to come to the aide of U.S. Navy veteran Mr. Johnson and his family. Mr. Johnson is a double amputee. He and his family had recently suffered the loss of their home due to a fire.

Commitments made and ACTION followed.

Cleanup work performed by members of the Scenic City Heroes American Legion Post 0291, AmVets Post 36, and Benchmark Physical Therapy representative. Special THANKS to Mr. Stockwell and Circle Solutions Construction Company who donated both equipment and manpower! Thanks are also given to K & K Waste for their support in this endeavor and the Chattanooga Area Veteran’s Coalition.
